Be Careful How You Process Information

Monday, July 27th, 2009

This past week The Capital Area Association of Realtors released June home sales figures. For the second month in a row the association decided to do a previous month comparison, and year over year comparison. Why would they start a previous month comparison? In my opinion because the numbers sound better than year over year comparisons. What is being reported is factual, closed home sales for June were up over 20% from May. Sounds great doesn't it?

Could This Be the Last Independence Day?

Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

Happy Independence Day! This is the 233 celebration of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Investors For The Fair Tax Unite

Sunday, March 1st, 2009

The vast majority of Americans are investors, although many don't realize it. The vast majority of Americans are creative with their 1040 numbers, although most won't admit it. The majority of Americans would agree that investing, retirement planning, and estate preservation would be easier to manage if the Internal Revenue Code was comprehensible. A landslide of American voters would elect any candidate championing IRC replacement surgery.
