With all the ways you can use a suv, no wonder it is the most popular body type of choice to use. Just about every auto maker has a Suv or maybe several models. Ford has 5 suv's now, but three are very popular.When gas prices went above $4.00 a gallon it made the smaller suv's more sought after, like the ford escape. The escape is a small but roomy vehicle that gets good gas mileage. Another very popular vehicle ford has is the ford explorer. This vehicle is a very stylish suv with a 3rd row seating available. For people not worried about gas mileage they have the expedition, which is a large suv, but not their largest.

Why you should care about front and rear wheel drive

Cars move accelerate and move forward when the engine relays power to the car wheels. Many people are not aware of it but in most care only two wheels are actually connected to the engine and are used to move the car. There are three ways in which a car can accelerate forward: front wheel drive, rear wheel drive or all wheel drive. With front wheel drive the two front wheels are connected to the engine and push the car forward while the rear wheels just tag along. Rear wheel drive is complete opposite the rear wheels are connected to the engine and push the car. And finally all wheel drive as the name suggests uses all the wheels at the same time to move the car.

Brush Guards Go Modern

Brush guards are not like they used to be twenty years ago. Twenty years ago they were strictly utilitarian and no attention was given to appearance. So you would see great looking trucks and SUVs with awful looking welded contraptions that hid the front of the vehicle. The old guards made the vehicles look like they just came off the scrap pile even if they did get the job done.
