Tuesday, April 12th, 2011When Henry Ford first started mass producing automobiles, the people working for him were absolutely shocked that he was charging such a low price for these cars. When they confronted him about it, Ford made one of the most famous statements about industry to the present day. Essentially, he commented on the fact that the cars needed to be affordable. He also used the same argument for paying his workers higher wages, citing the fact that he needed his workers to have the money to be good automobile consumers.
