Leona Lewis Smashes All Records Again

Leona Lewis did it with her debut single and her debut album, but once again she has smashed a massive record. Her new song the Snow Patrol cover of Run, has been downloaded more than 70,000 times in its first two days of release. Therefore it has smashed the previous digital track record which came from Estelle's American Boy song, which sold 51,857 downloads in a week to become the biggest digital-only single.

Lupe Fiasco Tickets - Lupe Fiasco Going Indie-Rock?

Recent rumors that Lupe Fiasco may be retiring from the rap world came as a shock in the end of 2008, but now that it is 2009 the Chicago MC is causing even more confusion. In the first few days of the New Year, MTV.com reported that Japanese Cartoon, a faux British indie-rock band, was possibly helmed by none other than Lupe Fiasco (yes, with a British accent!). According to Japanese Cartoon's MySpace page, the lead singer is really Percival Fats, but music sites like NME.com have suggested otherwise, claiming that the rapper is embarking on a new direction with the band. Japanese Cartoon did state on their MySpace that Lupe Fiasco is merely their producer and not part of the band but some media outlets are not convinced.

Montgomery Gentry Tickets - New Release Benefits Troops

Montgomery Gentry has been a longtime supporter of the U.S. Military throughout their career, and they have gone every farther to prove their devotion. They recently put together a 12-track album called For Our Heroes, and part of the proceeds will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. The album features many of the duo's top hits like "Something to Be Proud Of," "Didn't I" and "My Town" along with a few lesser-known songs. The album will only be available at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store.
